I am trying to get PodPress to work here on Passionate Blogger so I can start doing podcasts for all of you. If you don’t know I am a talk radio show host and it is what I really enjoy doing. If I can get podpress to work correctly here on Passionate Blogger I will start doing a regular podcast that I know you all will enjoy. With that said this is only a test.
Update: There seems to be a problem with PodPress version 8.2 so I removed it and installed version 7.4 instead. Podpress version 7.4 seems to be working just fine. The podcast below is my comedy podcast that I do at PassionatAmerica.com, I hope you enjoy. The upcoming Passionate Blogger Podcast will be funny (I hope) and will also talk about how to blog better and make a living online. I’ll try to get the first couple of episodes finished this week.
Update #2: I have discovered that PodPress 8.2 has a bug that causes the PodPress player to not show on your posts if the PodPress stats feature is turned on. PodPress support is aware of the problem and they are working on a fix. I had planned to do a tutorial on how to install PodPress and the basics of podcasting. I’ll hold of on this post until the PodPress bug is fixed.

Bill - Do you think your going to approach the podcasts in a linear fashion, with the first few about starting a blog and moving on from there?
I’ve been trying to soak up as much info as I can recently. It seems like whenever I read a new post I kick myself for not starting my blog the proper way.

That is a good idea Jerad, I have a series of posts that I am working on about starting a blog from scratch. I’ll try to make a series of podcasts along those lines also. I hope to have the hardware (video camera and video editing equipment) within the next few months and will also start video blogging (I hope.)

I got the podcasting plugin to work, now I just need to come up with some ideas for what you all would like to hear.
Any suggestions for topics would be greatly appreciated.

I do not sound like that, and the list price of your bumper is $772.76. You should of high balled it instead of starting out at $200.

Sorry to tell you Mrs. Big Mike sometimes your voice does sound like that to our ears and yes Big Mike went way to low on the price of the accident. Oh well there is always next time.
