How To Resurrect A Dead Or Dying Blog

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting Passionate Blogger!

Simple, write more quality content. Seriously sometimes it takes more than writing quality content to resurrect a dead or dying blog. Take Passionate Blogger as an example. I have not posted on this site for quite a while. Short answer as to why: Family issues. Now that I am in the process of clearing that hurdle the next item on my list is resurrecting my dying blogs.

First things first, a lot has changed since I stopped blogging. WordPress has had several new version releases. Their are tons of emails, comments, and spam to go through and moderate. So I’ll spend sometime this week upgrading everything and giving my blogs some small makeovers.

Second most if not all of my site traffic has disappeared (and who can blame them.) I plan to start using the Blog Points System Excel Spreadsheet again to keep myself on track. It will take time to regain traffic losses on the sites, but I’m ready for the challenge.

Next I am reexamining my life so that my problems will not overwhelm me again. I have to retrain myself on how to be happy again. I am also in the process of some major lifestyle changes that will include raising my income by going outside my home to find a job. My blogging income is a nice bonus, however it does not allow me yet to pay all of my bills and travel as often as I would like.

This is a good start and I have plenty of things on my plate over the next few months. Thanks for returning to Passionate Blogger and I hope you’ll return more and more as I resurrect this blog.
